Phonexa CEO Lilit Davtyan has been named the 2023 Female CxO Trailblazer award winner.

The honor was announced by the independent UK-based Tech Trailblazers Awards, a global awards program and competition across 16 categories dedicated to the enterprise technology startup ecosystem. The award was vetted by a high-profile judging panel and subjected to a public vote.

“I am deeply honored to receive the Female CxO Trailblazer award,” said Davtyan. “This recognition is a testament to the incredible efforts throughout our global organization and the continuous support of mentors and colleagues. I am committed to fostering an environment where innovation thrives, diversity is celebrated, and where every voice contributes to our shared success.”

“2023’s Tech Trailblazers Awards has uncovered another treasure trove of entrepreneurial talent,” said Rose Ross, Chief Trailblazer and Founder of The Tech Trailblazers Awards. “I am always delighted to see new names appearing, but also happy to see a winner from last year come back and win again. Congratulations to all of our 2023 Tech Trailblazers. With our 12th edition it’s been important to not just look at the technology, but also the ecosystem as a whole. The Female and Male CxO categories continue to be popular, to recognize these trailblazing individuals as vitally important to the startup community. Environmental issues also continue to inspire firms entering the Sustainable Tech category.”

This honor from Tech Trailblazers continues an impressive 2023 for Davtyan.

Earlier this year, the Los Angeles Times honored Davtyan with its prestigious “CEO of the Year” award.

Davtyan was also recognized as one of the esteemed honorees for the 2024 Women of Impact Awards by Women Impact Tech. The Top 50 Women of Impact acknowledges remarkable women who have exerted substantial influence within the tech industry, thus paving the way for more women to pursue careers in this field. She also participated in the “Women In Leadership: How to Succeed & Pave it Forward” panel and served as a keynote speaker at the Women Impact Tech Conference in San Francisco.

The latest rounds of recognition comes on the heels of a busy 2022 for the seasoned executive, which was marked by an impressive streak of accomplishments.

Davtyan was named a nominee for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women’s Leadership Awards and a finalist for the San Fernando Valley Journal’s 2022 Women’s Leadership Awards. She was also named one of the Top 100 Accountants in Los Angeles by the LABJ.

Previously serving as Phonexa’s CFO, Davtyan possesses a unique background as a CPA, demonstrated by her journey to assume the role of CEO at Phonexa in 2021.

Davtyan has transcended the confines of traditional accounting, illustrating that CPAs are not limited to a single career path. Her professional trajectory has been marked by a progressively diverse collection of prestigious recognitions and awards from highly regarded publications and organizations.

Over the past three years, Davtyan earned the title of “CFO of the Year” from LABJ in 2020, received a subsequent nomination for the same award in 2021, and garnered another nomination for the CFO Leadership Award from the Los Angeles Times. She also secured the Gold Winner accolade in the “Woman Leadership of the Year” category at the TITAN Business Awards and was honored as “Executive of the Year” at LABJ’s Women’s Leadership Series & Awards in 2021.

In her current capacity as CEO, Davtyan directs Phonexa’s overarching growth strategies, forging valuable partnerships with enterprise companies. Beyond her CEO role, her track record of success extends to her contributions and active membership in reputable groups like the Forbes Business Council and CHIEF, a private network dedicated to empowering female leaders.

Before obtaining her CPA license, Davtyan earned her B.B.A. from Woodbury University and her Master of Business Taxation from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
